Image Catalog Management System
Objectives
Create a dynamic website driven by a “mysql” database. The goal of the site is to search the database and present results in the form of a collection of pictures of items and related information or comments.
Presentation of the search results will be made in two levels.
- A summary page showing pictures of the different items found, each associated with certain “key information”
- A “click” on each picture shall display a new detail page for this item, with several other pictures, additional information and sometimes other media files such as sound, video, or pdf.
Project tasks
- Create a login and registration process
- Create queries to the database by words, by categories.
- Create a master “template” to present the query results
There are about 600 images to manage and about 100 additional document/file: htlm, pdf, videos, mp3.
